Gibbous is built on trust, so we're precise about what that word means here — and what it doesn't. This page is the plain-English version.
What we do
Every reader is personally reviewed and approved by a human before their page can go live. We don't auto-approve anyone.
Readers complete Stripe's identity and payout checks (KYC) to be paid — the same checks banks and marketplaces rely on.
Payments are held securely by Gibbous and only released to the reader after your session.
Our trust score is mechanical — calculated from verification, completed bookings, reviews and reliability. It is never a hand-picked opinion.
What the ✓ Verified badge means
The ✓ Verified badge means a reader has passed Stripe's identity/payout checks and been individually reviewed and approved by Gibbous. It does not mean we have run a government-ID or background check, and it is nota guarantee of any reader's ability or the accuracy of any reading.
What we don't do
We do not certify or guarantee any reader's spiritual ability, nor the accuracy of any reading.
Readings are for guidance, insight and reflection — not medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice, and no outcome is promised.
We do not run government-ID or criminal-background checks (this may change; we'll update this page if it does).
